- Describe the pathogenesis and clinical presentation of human papillomavirus (HPV).
- Discuss properties of the currently available HPV vaccine, including dosing/administration, vaccine schedules, and safety considerations.
- Review clinical evidence and guideline recommendations supporting HPV vaccination in various populations.
- Recognize barriers to implementation of appropriate HPV vaccination and suggest strategies to overcome such barriers.
